Pantry Remodel

Well the big remodel project is going well. We are down to the studs in the original structure and have extended the floor out into the garage portion. We have even started installing the flooring. Now all we need to do is build the walls, hang drywall, patch and tape the drywall, paint, install molding and shelving. Easy peasy right?

The handyman we hired is an interesting guy. Hes pretty efficient at his work and doesn't let much stop him once he gets going. The other day he cut his finger badly. When I heard him calling my name, I went out there and there was blood everywhere. Apparently he had sliced his thumb pretty good while installing the plumbing for the water heater and washer and dryer. He was pretty nonchalant about it and while I ran to get first aid supplies, he continued working! I helped him clean and bandage up, expecting him to take off for the day. Instead he kept working. I assumed the cut must not have been that bad. They next day he came back and said he had to go to the hospital and have 5 stitches put in!!! Good lord man! Needless to say, this project is getting done quickly and well within budget!
