This is the most exciting yet impatient time of year. Plants are beginning to poke their heads above the ground and I try to determine the inevitable losses from cold winter temps. Flowers are blooming and vegetables are being added to the garden, yet the air feels too chilly to truly be spring. I want to cherish this time of cool, crisp air and tulips, yet I cannot wait for summer. For now, I look at pictures from previous summers, plan this season's garden and dream of things to come.
