Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes? Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes? How about raindrops on Tulips and dew drops on Heuchera? Yes, beaded water on plants is one of my favorite things. It is so pretty to see normally matte plants glimmer and sparkle in the sunlight.
Did I say sun? Yes I did. It has been sunny every day this past week since Sunday! Its a record streak for this year so far. This weekend is even supposed to bring us our first 60 degree day (knock on wood), we will see.
In sadder news, I was watching the weather last night, and they mentioned that we are still in a La Nina weather pattern this year. I thought El Nino and La Nina only lasted one year each. Last year was La Nina too! What the . . . ? So apparently we are stuck in this crappy weather pattern for another year. The upside is, like last year, I will not have to water my yard much. Sigh.
Anyway, back to my favorite things, I took a bunch of cool water droplet photos. They turned out well, but a picture never seems to capture the true beauty of those glimmering drops. I got close though. Enjoy!

Beautiful! Lovely growing things...my garden is all ready for planting and I am having fun with my garden magazines. Time for a visit to Ellensburg, Nicole.
