Stealth Pees

My son is a ninja pee-er. Its a mystery how he does it really. I have spent way more time trying to figure this out than one would think necessary. Maybe my brain is addled from sleep deprivation or maybe this is a true mystery, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how this kid does it.

It all starts with him innocently laying in our arms, or on our chests. Suddenly, the telltale feeling of a spreading warmth alerts us to the fact that we have been peed on. This is where the mystery begins. When we pick him up to change his clothes, we realize that they are dry. A further diaper inspection reveals that it is also dry! There are no gaps or holes around the top or legs of the diaper. He is wearing pants with a tight waistband. So where did the pee go? Is there a worm hole in his trousers that allows pee to exit without getting anything but our clothes wet? I am so baffled! Is this a thing that newborns are known for, or is ours just special?
