Irritating Things

While William is at a super cute phase right now, he also has some irritating habits that have been driving me absolutely bonkers lately. The first is that he loves to roll onto his tummy in the crib, but then realizes that he actually hates being on his tummy, and can't figure out for the life of him how to turn back over. So every morning for the past week, I've been woken up an hour early, to frantic crying, and I go in there and hes stuck on his stomach. I wish he would learn to roll back over for heaven's sake!

The second annoying habit he's developed is while breastfeeding (and only on his left side), he will take his right hand and vigorously feel up my face. His moist little fingers grab my jaw and cheeks, pinch my nose and pry their way into my clenched mouth. Its like a blind person trying to memorize your face. Then he proceeds to wonder palm my forehead with his damp hand repeatedly while I shake my head back and forth to avoid the blows. I can do little to stop this since one of my hands is behind his head, while the other cradles his body. The most I can do is to trap his pudgy little hand between my chin and my neck. Of course, he doesn't like that and will pop off the boob to complain to me about the lack of hand freedom. Hopefully its just a passing phase. This kid can sure drive me bananas some times. He's lucky he's so cute!
