Our Daughter in 3D

Today I was able to go and get a 3D ultrasound done. It will be the last for this pregnancy, which is good because they are a pain in the neck to arrange. I have to find someone to watch Will, and then drive 40 minutes to Issaquah and then back again, often through heavy traffic. Its nice that the scans are free, but there is a reason I've only had 3 of them! I should have done more of them when I was pregnant with Will and making those appointments was a lot less complicated. Oh well.

Baby girl was looking great. They spent a long time looking at her heart (because they are testing their equipment to calibrate it for pediatric cardiac patients), and announced that she "has a beautiful heart!" I had to laugh a little to myself. Its not the typical compliment one expects to get about their baby, but I will take it! There is nothing wrong with a beautiful heart! The rest of the appointment was uneventful and we got several great images of her face. She was very wiggly in there, just like always. It is so fun to finally see what she looks like! Personally I think she looks a lot like William. Will is a pretty cute guy so I am totally ok with that :) Now that I've seen what she looks like, I am all that much more eager to select a name and finally meet her in person (in 5-7 weeks).
