After all of the work that Michael did to improve the upper half of the baby's room, it is now looking pretty good in there! The molding has been caulked and painted. The walls have also been repainted (the same color) as it was done poorly the first time. Once that work was done, it was time to decorate.
This was the actiivty I was most excited about as up until that point, I had piles of baby crap just sitting, collecting dust in my living room. Not ideal! We set up the crib, and I put the bedding on. I hung curtains and we bought a new rug. I pulled the rocking chair from another room as well as the bookshelf. it was nice to be able to use a lot of furniture and decor we already had to decorate the nursery. I love saving money! Not only that, but I got the dresser and changing table for FREE! My favorite price. There are just a few more items that will go into the finished room, but those probably won't go in until after the baby shower. All in all, I would say its looking pretty good and I am glad that we have been able to do it for a fairly low amount of money.
