House Update #9: Interior Tour

So now that the framing is done and the roof is on, apart from the siding, the exterior is basically finished. Now things are starting to happen almost primarily in the inside. The HVAC guy came and installed the heating system including the furnace, tankless water heater, air circulation vents and and all the duct work to each room. Also the plumber just got finished as well, so now all the water and drainage pipes are in place for the kitchen, laundry room and all 3 bathrooms, as well as exterior faucets for hoses.

The electrician will start work on Monday and all the wiring should be completed by the end of the week. On Tuesday I have a meeting with the cabinet people to discuss layout, style and color of the cabinets in the kitchen, butler's pantry, all 3 bathrooms and laundry room. Then next Saturday we will meet with the interior designer and finally pick out all of the colors and finishes for the interior, as well as the exterior door and siding colors. So things are moving along at a decent clip and we are right on schedule.

We should get a fairly firm completion date soon and we are just excited to see the house come together! I took a bunch of pictures of the interior yesterday and thought I would show a few of the interior rooms as a sort of pre-tour of the house:
